At the LIR Academy (Trinity College Dublin) Louise teaches devising theatre where she directed Omertá, Given the Day, Coop and The Sin Eaters.

She was awarded the Captain Cathal Ryan Scholarship Award, the international Artist Residency at the Robert Wilson Centre, New York and the Moore Visiting Fellowship Award at the a National University of Ireland, Galway.

She was the Resident Assistant Director at the Abbey Theatre (2007-2009) where she is currently under commission.

Louise trained at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama (University of London) and Samuel Beckett Centre, Trinity College, Dublin.
